What is
BN (Boron Nitride)?
Hexagonal
boron nitride (h-BN) is an inorganic graphite like power. Like
graphite its plate like microstructure and layered lattice structure give it
good lubricating properties.
hBN has many unique characteristics (refer to
the table on the right). The superb thermal conductivity provides
excellent thermal management under many conditions. The plate like
microstructure and layered lattice structure is excellent for lubricating
applications such as mold release, oil additive, or high temperature grease.
